Kitchen tap splutters

A swan neck-style kitchen tap splutters, but only first thing in the morning. During the day it doesnt have this problem. I am guessing this is because the water runs out of the neck of the tap overnight and has to refill first thing, whereas during the day it holds. Is this correct or does it indicate another problem?

Is there a solution to the morning spluttering...e.g. would putting an aerator on the end of the spout improve things?

well an aerator would make no difference, does it do it on the hot or cold,if hot, does it happen in any of the bathroom hot taps,if you turn them on first in the morning

Not on the other taps, just this kitchen one. And doesnt seem to make a difference on hot vs cold

When I say a aerator will not help. I mean solve the problem it may help conceal spluttering a bit by its very nature, why this should happen on hot and cold,I am not sure, spout draining over night would just mean water would have to fill spout before coming out,,unless maybe inner spout/divider between hot and cold is damaged

imho
