We have an anti-siphon valve connected to our kitchen sink waste like this one from wickes...

Although this works fine during normal emptying of a full sink the valve leaks if the waste disposal unit is run... it seems that the pressure built up by the macerator exceeds the valve's capabilities and it allows water to flow out through the air inlet.

Can anyone recommend a solution please...
Cheers
GP
