Leaking fittings

Hi Everyone...

Hoping someone can help me.

I have a selection of brass fittings (a double check valve, some thread converters and a solenoid) and they all have BSP threads male/female as appropriate.

They all fit together quite nicely, though they do rattle about as they are quite loose (even though in theory the threads are matching).

I have applied some Paste I purchased from Screwfix, but when I apply water they all leak...

Can someone tell me how I should be sealing these??

Ah thats the catch....

the customer say no tape... ashame because I'm sure that would have worked...

If the punter knows more about plumbing than you? Lend him the tools. (Make sure he understands its a jointing tape and not a bit of insulation tape to wrap around the existing leaks.) Good Luck

For future reference I used fibre washers in the end and they worked a treat. Yes customer's are a pain....
