How do I get access to the flow cartridge in the Hansgrohe Bar Shower. It has the control with the 50% mark on the flow side. See attached photo - the end piece pops off but hard to see whether the small button should also come off to slide off the cover and reveal the cartridge

Will remove the handle / control then you will have access to the cartridge

Yes but you don’t need to do that yet only when you remove the cartridge (just before)

Have you tried giving it a pull ?

Is it possible that the push button on the side comes off and there is a grub screw behind? Or is the pin that is just visible in the photo something that has to move because the cover does not want to move.

Is that the flow handle you are playing with?

The thermostatic cartridge is the other end!!!

Flick off the end cap and remove the Allen screw that allows the handle to pull off and reveals the cartridge.

If you need a replacement it is almost certainly 98282000.

It is the flow cartridge that is the problem. I've removed the end piece and the allen screw but the handle won't move or come off.

I'm suspecting there's a metallic insert in the plastic handle handle that has seized onto the splines. Plusgas and patience? But being plastic, any force required to remove (even a bit of stern wiggling) may end up damaging the handle. Does the cartridge come with a new handle?
