Leaking overflow

Hello

I was hoping someone could help! We have a dual flush toilet with an internal overflow which is constantly dribbling. I have adjusted the screw which changes the level of the float and when you flush the toilet I see that the flow of water into the cistern apparently stops when the float reaches the right level. However, water must continue to trickle in very slowly because eventually it reaches the overflow pipe and trickles into the toilet pan.

What can I try next?

Any advice gratefully received.

But my name says it all, which part is the ball valve? There is no ball shaped valve that I can see!

You may have c compact inlet valve which looks like an upside down cup??? Just change it.

If it's a pneumatic flush valve it could be that's at fault as opposed to the inlet (ball) valve.

Just this week (with water letting into the pan) I confidently changed the inlet valve and found that the workings of the flush valve were at fault so ended up changing both!
