Take the ptfe tape off and swap the washer , failing that just get a new hose.

The washing machine tap is a threaded fitting with an isolation lever no olives it just screws in, Whats confusing about it?
thats what i thought. whats confusing about it?.
which end is passing, hose side or pipe side?.

pipe side. Ive tried numerous turns of ptfe tape, should I try boss white compound?

are you saying, there is a nut on it but no olive inside, or its a female union?.

then 3-4 wraps of ptfe does nothing.
wrap anticlockwise 14-16 wraps on up and down the thread if its descent tape then crank it on.
sorted.

Hey
As you say that the tap is threaded fitting, i think there may be a hole in a pipe nearby the tap then i suggest you to use m-seal at leaking place.

Thanks
