Liquid ptfe and plastic threads

Anyone used liquid ptfe / locktite 577 on plastic threads?
I need to make this up and plastic is always a pain with ptfe or string

Won’t cure eg 577 they do make a special one for plastic threads

I will try locktite 55 cord and cross my fingers 😅

That's what I'd do don't over load the threads.

Im a bit late to this one, but the screwfix stuff works - Screwfix liquid PTFE - I used it to join some 2" male threaded waste fitting to plastic and onto a 2" lever valve and it worked a treat.
