Loctite 577 - Is it good?

Bought a bottle today as seen a few people raving about it online and I use Loctite 55 all the time.

Anyone used it? Any tips for using it?

How long do you let it cure for? Just been having a look online and vids but doesn't seem to mention specific times. Are we talking minutes, hours?

Bought it for rad tail joints mainly and outside taps.

It depends on type of metal and pressure I believe

instant upto 4 bar

if you want to set something up so it looks right (loose) eg out side tap leave it 10-15 before you turn the water on you will be good then

I haven’t used ptfe in 4 years.
Don’t forget if only works on metal to metal.

Great stuff it’s all I ever use now I usually leave for about half an hour before turning water on but others have told me they’ve put water through straight away and been fine

Sounds good. Was just a bit concerned about cure times, but if it’s instant up to 4 bar that’s pretty good.
