Called out to a busted Keston K50 heap

Parts are unobtainable now so the only option I have is new boiler

Installation is in a small three story block of flats and all flats have the same boiler in the centre of each property with all the flues running through all sorts of voids - nightmare.

As the boiler isn't working I obviously haven't had to worry about at risking it.

I'm stuck with the dilemma of replacing the boiler in the same site and then obviously running a flue to an outside wall and then box it correctly in terms of inspection. or I could resite the boiler in the kitchen about 6 m from the airing cupboard but I am faced with solid floor and ceilings to re-route all the necessary pipework.

Short and sweet question is really can anybody think of any other alternatives that I might have missed as I can honestly say this is turning into an absolutely huge job

Question? Keaton's use solvent Upvc for the flues, so if they are glued do you need inspection panels for the joints.

It's an interesting one I hadn't considered would there be anything that would go on to The smaller Keston flue from their range

In all seriousness I'd relocate boiler to outside wall and reroute pipework. No ceiling void you could get the pipes through?

There is a hole in the roof where a leak from above came through and it looks like the ceiling plasterboard is dabbed straight onto the concrete

So the flue isn't currently in the ceiling it's in separate boxing? Couldn't you run pipework through that to new boiler position?
