Hi All,
I'm a new business, been going on my own for about 6-7 months, and I'm now getting to the point where occasionally I have too much work for just myself, or bigger jobs where I don't have the luxury of the property being empty so I can do it myself and take a bit longer, so I need to bring someone in to get it done quicker.
So, I am looking for either a competent and experienced plumber who wants to gain gas experience, or a GSR who doesn't have or want full-time work. A semi-retired person would be perfect, as I did not go via the traditional apprenticeship route, so whilst I'm pretty competent and confident, there are times when I'd love a mentor to bounce ideas off/ask for advice from.
The work is not predictably regular at the moment, but it's getting that way. I can't offer a wage, just because, right now, I can't offer you a guaranteed number of hours or jobs per week. Payment would be as a percentage of the profit on the job, and of course I will price jobs with your cut in mind. For this to work you will need to be registered as a company so you can invoice me, or you need to be registered under the CIS scheme as a subcontractor.
The long-term prospects, if we work well together and have the same outlook with regards to integrity, quality of work, building and keeping a pristine reputation, are for you to become a full partner in the business if that's what you want.
I'm based in London (E4 postcode), but cover most of London/West Essex/Herts area, further afield if the job's worthwhile.
PM me if you're interested!
Cheers,
Masood
