Ive just finished an NVQ Level 2 course and i am now looking for a young apprenteship as i am 17 yrs old and would really like to get into this as a career.

I am just wondering if anyone in here knows of anyone who is taking on in the Tyne and wear area.

I would be very grateful if you could let me know. Thanks

Sorry if this is not allowed.

if u want an apprenticeship keep trying.i can t help but maybe the uk lads on here may give u a dig out.post this a few times over the next while because some lads don t come on regularly and might not see the thread.try looking through the list of members for locations!!
plumbers go through apprentices like hot dinners.plumbing not easy , hard work , but if u are a grafter and have half a brain u will fit in nicely.[thats my own personal profile there]make sure it is what u want to do. best of luck . maybe this time next year u will be on here correcting some statement i've posted about a plumbing problem.

Please can someone help me.
I am 26 yesrs old and have an above average experience in building etc.
In my current postion (unemployed) and the current climit i thought it is a perfect time to get qualified in a trade. I have found a company called OLCI and they have offered me a place on a 8 weeks intensive plumbing course. I will come away with a NVQ Leve 2. I like the idea of getting qualified quickly but am worried about finding a job etc after the course.
I would appricate some guidence and commnents on the my situation and these courses

Id love to know if anybody know's any info on adult apprentership courses, as of the new government budget that has come about this week. I have been working in spain for the last 10 years (i'm 30) and am moving back to manchester in 2 month's and really want to find an adult course/apprentership rather than find a pants job and go to college from scratch? any help would be brilliant thanks??

Hi drapes sorry to put u on a bit of a downer but u will never get nvq level 2 in 8 weeks! I've just finished my tech certificate level 2 c&g and started my level 3 cert and this taken me nearly 18months! Not to mention that I only starting nvq level 2 on Monday now that I have found myself an empoyer who will take me in one day a week to get experience and evidence for the file! U need to be working to get the nvq and even if u do manage to finish the tech cert in 8 weeks then I suggest to u to try nf find something a little less intense! The reason for this is that u will find it very helpful having more time to get your head round things and learn it properply!
