Hello my name is Michael I am 27 years old, I have recently left the RAF after 8 years. I am currently working as a care worker at the moment but whilst I was on resettlement I attended a short course on plumbing that lasted a week. I really enjoyed the course and did learnt a lot more than I initially thought. I realise that the classroom is nice and safe with the teacher watching you i understand that day to day plumbing isn't like anything in the class room. I do however believe with the skills i learnt in the RAF (mainly determination and a passion to succeed) i can go on to become a plumber.
Anyway back to the main topic, which is, am looking to become a fully qualified plumber, but being 27 I don't qualify for a apprenticeship so I'm looking for some advice on which is the best way to go about, is there anyone on here that has been though the same situation or something similar that could offer some advice?
Any information would really be appreciated.
thanks
Michael
