Looking for work

Hi im new to the gas industry and have not long gained my tickets. I am trying to gain some experience to make myself more employable if there is anyone out there that could help or advise on this it would be great to hear from you. I am currently in the milton keynes area.

what type of quals do you have ? do you know other tradesmen ? ask about you might get a start through one of your mates if your lucky like me, sent a cv before no reply but one drunken conversation with one of their tradesmen got me in

qualications is also a big factor, if you are a fast tracker then chances are slim if you are a time served tradesmen with jib/cscs card then more chance of getting a start

Good luck M8 hope you get sorted, I have a mate who had finished all his plumbing fast track and ended up working for two different idiots and ended up going back plastering

try the agencies, i am always knocking back offers from ones i'm registered with

good times and bad times always the worst payers, for somereason many of them think you should be working for free,
"no we didnt get your invoice could you send it again, 10th time might be the charm"

I had that pleasure this week trying to get paid for a job i did last year a total nightmare , but have since been paid thank God
