Loosing tools

Don't you just hate it when you loose tools, I've lost my multimeter and all the probes/fuses etc that I had in the bag!

Around £90/100 of kit gone in a flash. I think I left it on site and someone has nabbed it :angry_smile:.

Time to go and waste some money just before christmas.

Whats the most expensive tool you have lost?

I never loose tools I use bungees and string and attach them all to my trousers etc. Just like you see kids do with gloves a piece of string through the arms of coats. I do nearly garot myself every day......

Lost my first tool for 4 years a week ago - piece of wire to clean out silicone nozzles and other things.

I'm normally really good at looking after tools, first one I've lost in about 5 years.

Just racking my brains of where I left it, but I'm pretty sure someone has taken it.

I'm well gutted too!

Lost £80 u gauge first day out with it. Left it by an outdoor meter (NO ... attached thereto) in one of our less desirable neighbourhoods.

the only tools that i have lost are two screwdrivers and a hammer. bugger now i've said that i'll probably lose one of my bahco adjustables.

Probably lost 3 or 4 full kits of tools over the years and found a good few others had lost.

Couple of years back i decided, in my wisdom, to buy a display pack of knipex alligators (10) as it worked out around £12 a set thinking they would do me until i retire.
They never lasted 6 months and i had lost the lot!

i lost my 6 n 8 inchers a few week back , went and bout 2 new ones cos as we know cant live without them.

anyway day after i bought new ones i remebered where id left them. so there now in the spares box in the van lol

Lost a bahco spanner under bath once. Idiot tiler had tiled a bath panel with no access for maintenance so couldn't get it back. So frustrating!

I hate tiled in bath panels that are not removable. A big hammer usually persuades them off.
