Loss of water pressure after neighbours building work

Hiya chaps!,

Never posted on here before but here goes!.
Basically i've got a bit of a problem re water pressure at my house. Myself and the next door neighbour have a shared 25mm pipe that T's off toward my house and his, still on 25mm pipe. My pipe enters my house through a stop tap which reduces down to 15mm copper pipe which then feeds my house/utility room etc. His pipe joints onto a 15mm original build steel pipe which then enters his house etc. Apart from small and insignificant pressure fluctuations, all was well.
However over the last 3 months next door has had an extension built plus an out-building. The builders have tapped onto the shared pipe 3 times, to feed a new utility room, downstairs toilet and outbuilding. Basically there are now 5 x 25mm pipes off the mains feed pipe instead of 2. I was in the shower this morning, and the flow went to zero. Not a thing.
The question is, where do i actually stand with this? I spoke to the water board earlier and they said that as long as the flow and pressure is ok as the pipe enters crosses the boundary, shared pipe or not, they won't do any more!.

Any ideas?

ask the water board if they can run you a separate line from further down the shared pipe towards the mains. perhaps when the builders turned off the main stopcock to add the new pipes they didn't turn it back on fully.

Might be a leak from one of the new connections!

your first point of call is the niehbours they instructed the builders basicly they have stolen your water by taking more than their share of the main it will have to be upgraded in a larger size back to the incoming

Thanks chaps. I did actually call Yorkshire water, and they can run a new pipe from the main at a cost of £1700. Seems a bit steep, I had a new gas supply put in which came to about £400, which appears to be much the same run, just a yellow pipe instead of a blue one!. Ah well. Do need to get it sorted. Is it possible to put some sort of flow restriction in the feed to his property? Maybe even a drop down to 15mm and back? Clutching at straws here.
