Hi,

I've bled my rads but now have no pressure in my boiler!

Looks like I need to connect A to B and open C but before I do I'd appreciate a second opinion!!

thanks!

My god that's rough and a recipe for disaster! You've no back flow protection for a start!

Advertise here for someone to come and fit you a proper filling loop.

Post a thread in the 'I'm looking for a plumber / gas engineer' section of these forums remembering to include your location. [DLMURL="http://www.ukplumbersforums.co.uk/im-looking-plumber-gas-engineer/"]I'm looking for a Plumber or Gas Engineer[/DLMURL]

Maybe this boiler has an internal filling loop - some Vaillants do CHK :90:

How long have you lived here ? C. look like service valves for hot / cold water, B. drain point for heating, A. probably drain point for hot water, Have you gone through other cupboards or cylinder cupboard looking for filling point, believe me they get fitted in some strange places ! not always near boiler

being that c is already open thats not the filling valve, go look in your cyl cupboard or attic for a silver flexi pipe and valves near a pressure gauge and use that, for some reason some fitters use the old fill point in the attic for filling loop connections, seems to ensure regular call backs for them!

Looks like a non return valve at the bottom next to the air vent.
