Lost screw for sigma 845 gas valve

Hi all,
Was checking inlet pressure on a vokera compact 24 and I somehow managed to loose the screw that you loosen to check pressure. Is there anywhere I can just get the screw on its on? I do not know how the screw came out and I searched high and low but can't find it, feel like a complete tool! Is there any way a grub screw would work? Any help greatly appreciated

No point trying any old screw. Is there a fresh pair of eyes you can call upon to search for the screw? Maybe a call to the vokera rep?

Absolutely not!
As far as I am aware screws not available on own so new gas valve time I think.

or find an identical old valve fm your scrap pile

Usually find the screw been chewed by muppets with poor fitting screwdriver. Had to replace one these valves before due to this.

Screws definitely gone and I got rid of a lot of old stuff I had lying round at Christmas. Decided to clean up shed, stuff hadn't been touched in ages. That's always the way, no sooner you throw it out than you need it!

There's a used one on fleabay for 30 quid. Get 2 screws in it so your covered for next time :wink_smile:

Thanks for that, there won't be a next time! Every days a learning day but I feel totally sickened at the moment
