Morning... I have a combi boiler and seem to be getting loud noises(not banging but high pitched horn sounding) coming from what seems to be the pipes. It happens during the day sometimes which is not so bad .. however it has now has started happening in the middle of the night. I am not using the heating or water so im not sure how this occurs. The last plumber that came turned down the stopcock but that made no difference..... Any advice would be grately appreciated. Many Thanks :)

It will be caused by a ball valve or other filling valve in a toilet cistern. Turning the stopcock down won't solve it.
