I have recently had a new bolier and cylinder fitted as we have extended... When Initially fiitted the Hot Water was stronger than the Cold Water but now we have the new shower and Bath etc fitted the flow rate is no better than the old system( Tank in roof)...The Cylinder is an Albion ultrasteel unvented and the Bolier is a Worcester Bosch 30CD1. The Cold water pressure remains strong. The pressure gets even worse when washing machine or other taps are open - Power shower it is not....Can anyone please advise what may be causing this

Not as far as I am aware...Cold Water pressure has always been v strong though and before any additional ensuites, new kitchen etc were put in, we switched from old system to new system and there was a noticebale increase in the Hot water pressure - it was stronger than the cold.. How do I check the size of the incoming mains pipe is it obviously visable?

Hi the standing pressure should be around 3 bar and flow should be 22litres minimum from a cold tap with 15mm pipework to it if its less get your water supplier to check pressure and flow at the stop tap in the road if you have a water meter its not unknown for the filter in it to become blocked with debris

To help figure out what is going on here do you know whether the hot and cold are balanced? They should be. In the airing cupboard where the cylinder is the main should go to a combination valve with a pressure reducer, strainer after this valve it should tee off to supply the cold for the cold taps and then a cold supply for the bottom of the cylinder.

You say it worked as it should initially and then the pressure dropped off?
