Hi ,

im new to the forum so please bear with.

I have recently purchased my first house and have very low hot water pressure upstairs.

My system is a electric hot water cylinder with single immersion located in one of the bedrooms. There is no gas in the village and no storage for oil so I think this is the only system suitable unless Lpg but again no storage for tanks or bottles.

has anyone had experience with low water pressure with this type of system I have been told I could get a pump to increase the pressure but not sure what costs are involved.

also I have a wood burner only for heating can anyone advise on any low cost efficient electric heating.

many thanks

Need to know more details, Sounds like the cold header tank is NOT high enough above the Hot cylinder.
Are you intending to fit a shower then a twin pump like a Salamander CT50 or similar to boost pressure to taps and shower.
Regards efficient electric heating "there is`nt " unless it`s solar ! then you need lots of sunshine, where are you ? How much can you spend there are so many options, wood burner back boiler, etc. Low cost ? to install OR running costs ?
