I have a cast iron bath on feet and have not been able to find a waste outlet that is shallow enough to clear the floor. I originally cut a hole in the wooden floor to allow the trap to fit under the waste but have now tiled the floor and do not want to cut into this. I have been to quite a few plumbers merchants but none of them have been able to suggest a solution. I did find a decorative chrome system that probably would have worked but it was very expensive. Any ideas please?

hi.....dont no if it would be suitable ...,but have you tried a shower waste

have a look at an 1 1/2" Hepworth HepVO valve with a right angle adaptor.

you can use what is known as a (frying pan) trap, these are usually chrome and are quite easily obtainable from bathroom show rooms but not cheap called frying pan as they are quite flat, maybe only 2" deep

This may sound daft, but have you tried a Mcalpine shallow seal trap yet
