Hi Guy's
A little advice please.
Currently at a clients property she has an old floor standing conv boiler with large indirect cylinder, open vent setup, a big shower pump that feeds 3 showers.
She wants the cylinder removed to make a bedroom bigger and a combi installed. she only has 15lt/m cold water pressure. balls.
The options I'm thinking:-
Fit a 42cdi combi, leave the tank in the loft, with a feed coming down to a single inlet pump, to pump 17lt/m of cold into the boiler to give the maximum hot water flow possible.
Fit an unvented cylinder then again keep the cold storage tank so I can pump cold water at a very high pressure into the unvented cylinder.
Not sure if the regs fancy any of these installations, but I have seen both in the past.
