I have been looking into getting a gas Tumble dryer. They are so much cheaper to run than electric. White Knights have been around for years, but they only do a natural gas version which is not convertable to LPG. Rinnia do an LPG dryer but it comes out around £900, which tends to defeat the money saving as It would have to do some serious drying before I made any savings.

Is anyone aware of any other models out there which are LPG or can be converted to LPG?

The savings are very minuscule to be honest, if you think it needs electricity to drive the motor and gas to heat the thing. Plus the installation cost etc. you also need a ticket for one of these to install them.

I have ACS Domestic and commerical LPG and Nat Gas Laundry equipment. They are hugely more efficient Rob. Not so much so cost wise on LPG though.

Thanks, Thats what I suspected, just wanted to pass it by you guys, just in case I had missed something. Its a shame White Knight withdrew from LPG on their dryers, because it would not be to much to convert them, probably it was the cost of getting them EU stamped against the commercial demand.
