Recently when I was installing some taps I had a little weep from the copper tails and just could not stop it. So I removed them to have a look and found that it appeared the lsx had in some way deteriated the o ring.

Many I am sure dont use lsx in this situation but I have always applied a little on the threads. Has anyone else had this or should I stop applying in this situation.
