Anyone fitted one of these chrome ones ?

Went to get one yesterday for a customer and suppliers warned me away from them said they never match existing pipework and i would regret doing it , anyone had this experience with them?

I've fitted chrome basin waste, but not bath ones. Hope you warn customer of your ''findings'' prior to fitting it.

some chrome traps come with odd size chrome pipe and you need to run it into a mcalpine coupling there is a special thick rubber olive or you can pack it out with tape the chrome bath ones ive had are ridiculously small usually around and inch and a real pain

Sorry guys am talking about the pop up was ones you get on baths ,the overflow on this one is all solid chrome.

Not talking about the bath traps

If the customer does chose it, do not install it, but try it all together first & see if the trap is going to fit it & measurements are okay before you commit to fitting it.
If it don't seem good, then tell customer no.
