hi guys i need to fit a magnaclean to my heating system how much should this cost if i get someone in who is corgi registered british gas want 250 which seems hell of lot?

why do you have to be corgi registered to fit one of these?????
I thought they were fitted on the 22mm return pipework????

it will be hell of a lot you phoned bg what do you expect from bg ?

they'll probably condem your boiler at the same time.

Perhaps the idea came from one of those ads which said that passing the gas through a strong magnetic field made the gas burn more efficiently. So yes, I suppose you would want it on the gas supply! From other posts though, I think we need to make sure that the rubber seals are suitable for gas..........!:D
 
I find that as a general rule of thumb a fair price is about 60% of what BG quote.
