Main 24 he hot water issue

Went to this one this morning . Hot water ok at tap and bath but not on the thermostatic shower above bath.

pulled cover off and turn on the the shower the pin on the diverter doesnt go all the way to activate the micro switch so thoughts to myself new diaphragm. Get one out of van change diaphragm but then it is still the same. The shower(thermostatic) works only on full temp.
Got my flow cup out and getting a good 10 litres a min at the hot tap.

Will be going back on tuesday is there a filter that could be blocked or a worn diverter.
central heating work fine.

any help muchly appreciated.

I'd say it's the thermostatic shower pal, I had one a few months ago with a baxi 105. Went one week and couldn't find a problem although the bloke was stood at the kitchen sink trying to convince me the DHW was a problem. Got called back a few weeks later and when I asked what the fault was he again said the DHW in the house, his wife immediately contradicted him and said NO, not all the house or taps, just the shower !!!!

Are you getting 10 litres at shower with cold isolated? I'd try that next, it'll love shower or boiler.

Filter or the cartridge in the shower i reckon.

Forgot to say Changed the shower unit as i had a spare in the van. Still the same

not teaching you to suck eggs but did you check the pipework while the shower was out some have those wire filters that push back into the pipework
if you can id run the hot side with the shower out see if it gets hot then

But i swapped the thermostatic shower for a new one mark and still the same. Plenty flow from what i can see but i will the test hot flow when i go back next week.

your not teaching me mate sometimes we may miss something not obvious. In this case i checked the filters and they were clear.

In that case I would change the diverter valve.
