customer just called,main boiler keep locking out!system had new 3 port valve,pump boiler had new fun new air switch,insurance people been around today ,heat exchanger blocked full of sludge they told customer and need new heat exchanger and full power flush plus magna clean !when i went over ,boiler fired up first time when to lock out strait after 2 min ,took boiler case of boiler run for about 10 min after lock out !did visual inspection and air pressure switch no continuity when fun run makes switch after it did not want to fire,did ohms reading on gas valve 4k ohms between last pins ,power to gas valve 980dc,i tought it should be 240v,boiler is dirty and needs good clean ,there is sigh of sludge or some sort of leak from pressure tubes going to venture????and sign of sludge around flue outlet from heat exchanger ,could not strip boiler as lady was in the rush for night shift! any suggestion what should I been looking for as reading on resistance on gas valve,is it not normally to read continuity on air switch when not working ???
