Main combi 24 HE, heating starts and stops

Hi All, Hope someone can help with this one too. Main combi 24 HE, heating fires up as normal then stops after about 30 seconds. Any thoughts? Hot water works fine.

Nice and vague. Does it restart again? Doesnit d it continuously or just once and then nothing? Do you get an error code at all?

No error codes. The boiler does fire up again after a few minutes, but only for a short 30 seconds ish again.

I would say start at the Diverter Valve.

Diverter changed and no joy.

Was it leaking? Did it need changing? Is the motor good?

Actually it was changed about 6 months ago. Rads were getting hot when water used.

Definitely say the Diverter or the motor then. If rads are getting hot, then either the motor isn’t moving or the Diverter pin is stuck, since you’ve replaced the Diverter on a whim, I’d say the motor. You could confirm this by testing with a mm.
