Hi I have a main combi 30 he . It was moved to another room in my new extension. The hot water works fine and the boiler kicks in when the hot water tap is opened. However when I turn the dial to heating and hot water the flame comes on for about 10 seconds and then switches off and the error light starts to flash. Does anyone have any ideas what the fault could be? Any help would be appreciated, cheers danny

Hi and welcome.

I suspect you may need a pro in to look at this as we are unable to offer any gas related advice to non gas safe engineers. Sorry about that but we are very conscious of diy gas jobs and would hate for something to go wrong. Please post in the I'm looking for a plumber section and one of our oh so willing members in your area would be happy to come and take a look.

The last time i had a problem with a combi that another plumber moved,it turned out to be the return isolation valve had been left closed.Might be worth checking all your valves under the boiler are open.

And if that fails get in a pro.

We cannot and will not give advice on the installation or repair of boilers, cookers or ANY gas appliances for your own safety.

Please go to Gas Safe Register | Ensure your gas engineer is registered. or post a thread in the 'I'm looking for a plumber / gas engineer' section of these forums remembering to include your location.
