Advice please - i need to replace the stopcock under my kitchen sink. There is a limited amount of 15mm pipework either side of the existing stop so i am thinking i should leave the existing olive and nut on and fit the body of a new stop in between ?

If i did take the old olive and nut off would i have problems because of where the old olive had compressed the pipework would i not get a proper seal by putting a new one on ? :)
