Hi, new to the forum, found you because I have a question!

Partner wants us to install an alkaline water system in the kitchen, something like this, but I'm doubtful of any positive effects. Was thinking maybe to appease I could get a UV disinfection system like this, but can't figure out if it's something I could install by myself (someone with basically no plumbing skills).

So, is it worth getting either/both? (Preferably not both...)
And are they easy to install for newbies?

Cheers!
Dan

What’s the problem with the water at the moment?

Send a sample to a water quality lab first before spending 2k on a filter set

you may get away with just fitting a brita filter tap
