pls recommend me a filter to stop debris from mains water pipe blocking the shower

I used to sell spirovent, they are amazing, they are not a filter as such but a separator down to 5 microns

SpiroTrap: Dirt Separator

they were specified and fitted on many many commercial and domestic applications, £560,000 worth in the best year in my area alone (that's a lot of units), dont sell them anymore so am clear of a vested interest

but just check with them for suitability on cold water application

If this is occuring in a block of flats - then the problem might not be with Thames
foul tasting liquid that purports to be h2o. :asshole: Its more likely the mains distribution
network in the block rotting out.

If its a housing association building - alert them. If its a private block with a mgt company
let them know but they might go deaf. Water Law hinges on all households right to
'a wholesome supply of water' - your customer or who ever could really make them jump around - its also a public health issue. My Mrs is an expert in water law if you want to nail it down.............centralheatking
