making more work

when i change over from a gravity system and put in a combi, i put in a new 15mm feed in to the bath and take it off the 22mm as the combi hot supply is 15mm. does anyone else do this or leave it on the 22mm and couple up the 15mm. am i just making more work for myself.

i usually leave it as it is, i can imagine a lot of the time that would be a nightmare
