makita lxt600?

hi there i have been saving up my hard earnt pennys and was thinking of buying the makita lxt600 power tool set was just wondering if any other plumbers have brought/ or used any of these tools and if they are worth the money,its aload of dosh and i am still an apprentice but need a descent set of power tools (cant keep using my bosses stuff) any advice would be great thanks .

sets are ok if your going to use all the tools in them i find battery skill saws under powered and baterry jigs saws not very good generally
i am however a fan of makitas see my other post in which powertools
