Manifold question

Hi all.
I have a dodgy manifold and I need to replace it.
my question is does water flow through the 22mm pipe where my finger is pointing or is there like a block inside the pipe to stop the flow and return mixing in the 22mm pipe?

If it does both it will have a stop in it.

Yes there is a blank in the middle so right hand 4 connections are the flows & left hand are the returns.
Unfortunately a replacement manifold will be very hard to find as not listed by Yorkshire since 2016.
