Just been asked to look at one of these at our village pub- not heating the water up. Just wondered if anyone had an experience.

it is one of the auto fill type. The light comes on but no voltage across the element. Any ideas?

Could it be the thermocouple?

Will phone Marco on Tuesday if I am still stuck.

had a similar problem with another make a while back, ariston i think, changed thermocouple and overheat stat to no avail, immersion seemed ok but pcb seemed to have failed. Customer saw the state of the storage tank - leaping and didnt smell good so replaced with new heater at £400 plus, customer not worried though (large and famous charity, loads of money available!!)

It's not a very old unit (about 3 years) and just a 15l countertop one which is used for making tea and coffee at breakfast.

Marco do seem to be pretty good for spares looking at their website.
