Discuss Metallic clanking from boiler flue when boiler is off in the Boilers area at Plumbers Forums

I've got a boiler installed in the bedroom. When it's windy/rainy outside and the boiler's off there's a metallic clanking/tapping sound that seems to be coming from inside the flue.

I've posted a video here (). You can only just hear it in the video, but it's fairly loud and is waking me up at night. Any ideas on what this could be/whether it's worth getting an engineer out to look at it?

Unfortunately the flue is very high up on the outside, so it's near impossible to take a look in that end.

The boiler is a Vokera mynute E12 combi.

Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer!

Any pictures of the outside bit of the flue?
It's tricky to get a photo of, but it exits the wall horizontally (5 stories up) and has a cage like this over it:
