Tap dancer

A young man (early 20's?) from EDF came to read my gas meter today.

He then said he had to inspect the pipes coming from the meter.

This inspection consisted of gently touching them in a few places with the tip of his finger.

Anyone else heard of this?

Are you sure he's from EDF? Didn't offer to tarmac your drive aswell
did he?

Joking apart, were you left any paperwork? Did you sign anything?

And are any copper pipes still there?

Dont forget to check the earth bonding, and just to lower the tone.
Is your washing basket still undisturbed??

Theft of gas is rife at the moment. A friend of mine who is a reader, has been briefed to look for signs of tampering

Ah right. If that's the case though you wouldn't gently poke the pipe.

A visual and tightness test would tell you!
