I need to write a method statement for unvented cylinder installation anyone done one or got any ideas, when it comes to paperwork I'm fecking clueless so any help would be appreciated:blush5:

Method statements are a nightmare, you would think that there would be a modifiable template.
But there isn't.
As rocket says, good luck!

1) drain existing tank.
2) rip out tank and throw it in van away from thieving little scrotes.
3) fit new unvented.
4) fill up and test.
5) get paid and go.

As you can tell I have never done one.

Identify potential hazards.
Document the actions required to remove, avoid or deal with the hazards including LOLAR.
Identify the manufacturers literature and any other legislative documentation you'll be working to.
Identify the class of persons permitted and authorised to carry out the work.
List those people and the relevant qualifications they carry (G3, CSR card).
List all materials used covered by COSHH.
Document the tools you'll be using under PUWER.

Just as a start.......

identify yourself to tennant
put dust sheets down
drink tea
cut cable to immersion heater with pliers
phone sparks to fix blown electrics
drink tea
find out new cylinder wont fit in /AC
cap pipes and go home
drink tea
etc........ etc........

Remember to add the cost of writing the thing to the bill. It's not a 5 minute job and will take ages. Don't do it for free

Thanks BOD thats just what I was after could never have written that myself, would've been more like millsy's effort:smile5:
