My hot water supply from our Altherma unit is fine but our shower is almost cold.
Is it possible that the filter on the hot water inlet he's become blocked - they do recommend cleaning every 12 months and our has been there for five years.

I have found an instruction to do this HERE but cannot work out how the "Filter blanking cap" comes off?

Many thanks in advance

Thanks Ben-gee. Yes they do and the filters are clear so I went to the next step and checked the maximum temperature setting.
We've noticed that the Control Lever has become a bit wobbly over the years.
Any how, the procedure turned out to be slightly different to that detailed in the instructions. I didn't need to remove the whole control Control lever. I simply popped the front cove off, removed the 2.5mm screw and then inserted the 2.5mm Alen key through the hole, located it in an internal, hidden grub screw and turned it slightly anticlockwise and the temperature immediately went up!
Adjusted to where we want it, job done!
