Thermal cut out on those showers is at the top
of the wee cylinder & it is by far the most troublesome part & kills the power to entire shower. It seems to suffer from corrosion & this needs scraped off the top of cylinder before fitting a new cut out. Dead easy to test. Only about £11

Worth a shot, pcb is £130 ish for this!
Didn't realise they cut power to the whole shower, thought it was just the heat.

Solenoid will be also an easy to fit part & very low cost.
The latch switch (switch behind the on button) can fail also & you can remove it by prising the switch out of its place. It's just push on wire terminals. Switch is same black colour as its holder, but is a separate part.

Ok I'll check the the switch too. I think you just press one of the heat settings to turn it on and these a linked directly to pcb.
