Hello please help, just fitted a bath mixer tap with shower attachment trouble was the hot and cold pipes were opposite to the unit and as it was difficult to get into i have connected hot pipe to cold outlet and vica verca, now the cold water pressure is fin but the hot warter pressure is vey low is this because i connected them wrong? Is the bore of the hot tap wider than the cold and as i swopped them the hot is trying to get through a small bore??? Thanks in advance for any help.

change the pipes to the right way by installing flexi pipes

its cause you have unbalanced pressures and a mains pressure mixer tap.

It is a combi boiler any ideas? If we put a thermostatic mixer on it will this work?

ypu shouldn't get any problems with your mixer taps if you are supplying them from a combi.
check your flow rates from each hot/cold.
