Hi all

I installed a new kitchen sink and monobloc tap for a customer last week and yesterday i had a phone call from the customer as when he is turning on the hot water, it powerfully 'sprays' into in the kitchen sink which gets the kitchen surroundings soaking.
The cold is fine, and the water comes out of the spout correctly but the hot only sprays from the center of the spout.

Ive adjusted the isolating valve to the hot to see if it would make any difference but it dosn't and the hot continues to spray from the center and splash out of the sink all over the kitchen drainer etc.

Am i right in saying the monobloc must be faulty or is there anything else i should be checking to resolve the issue???

many thanks in advance

Liam

Sounds like a bit of debri caught in the hot outlet, or a damaged airator (the little plastic disc with holes in that some taps have).
