Hi
On DHW mode, the hot water is only hot for a few seconds before going cold. Inspected the boiler (while hot tap running) and the burner cuts out after a few seconds followed by what can only be described as a gushing noise. Is this a heat exchanger problem? No leaks anywhere.
Cheers

I've been advised that the diaphragm needs replacing in the water hydraulic part. However this, apparently, is a pig to do so I should therefore replace the whole water hydraulic assembly.
Has anyone had any experience with this?
If so any advice would be appreciated!!
Cheers
Rob

hi yes have done a few of these, and yes to fit the diaphragm only is a mare, but with the kit you do get replacment o rings,by carefull when you remove the four screws that fix it to the brass part as there are springs inside, when refitting use silcone graese to ease back,be carefull of the o rings, first time i replaced one i had to re-strip it down 2 times to get it right, a right sod!! 🙁

sounds more like a blocked secondary heat exchanger to me im not familiar with the boiler but can you see if the pin on diaphram is moving or test the switch to see if its making its the whoshing noise that sounds like overheated water where as a diaprham problem will turn of burner
