secret squirrel

After reading the thread on my thread about cars, thought I'd dedicate one purely to motor bikes.......

1. Favourite bike?

2. Why?

3. Dream bike?

4. worst bike?

I have 2 favourite bikes, my GSXR 750, she was so easy to ride and really forgiving, but, topped by my Hayabusa only bought it because I crashed my ZZR1100 into the side of a car. (driver of the car travelling down the one way st the wrong way and turned right infront of me).

The only word I can use to describe my Hayabusa was sexy.....loved everything about her.

Don't really have a dream bike.

My worst bike, theres 2, my honda ft500 a complete dog! just c!@p. My GSXR1100K, just a pig, gorgeous to look at but so unforgiving. She was never happy..........

get a real bike dude!

has to be 1 of them awesome cool bikes from orange county choppers!

I've never understood the interest in a chopper or harley sort of bike......... If theres an open road in front of me I want to be doing 160 down it, if theres a bend on a road I want to be able to get round it...............

It would have to be a YZR 500 or NSR 500 GP bike just to see how good or bad they really are

One day I will own a Ducati

Reason, mainly the single swing arm but been a dream for a long time

Did you know that a Hayabusa is a Japanese bird of Prey who preys on Blackbirds?

i once had a go at motocross on a mates bike a 500 cc monster got the wrong gear at one point and i swear the only point of contact between me and the bike was my fingers dont think ive been on a bike since
road bike rider are temporary citizens

1972 bsa road rocket mk3 750cc

1st big bike i bought from new

ducati 848 superbike

bsa bantam 175cc,always breaking down at the wrong time

It's weird because after 13 years riding motocross. I raced 125 cr's most of the time. I'd had a go on 250's and 500's but wasn't as quick on them.
Everyone associates the bigger cc with bigger speeds, not necessarily true.
I remember one meeting I did and it had long climbs and downhills and was power sapping sand ,my dad timed my laps and I won the race, I was 4 seconds a lap quicker than the winner in the same class in a different race but he was on a 250!!

There is a sandy motocross track in my area and your dead right the quickest lap time round this track is a 125

had a suzuki pe175cc enduro in the late 70's, was the fastest bike i ever did know. it scared me that much i sold it to a mate 4 months later. there was not one bike of any cc on the road that could beat it (up to 80mph from a stand-start anyhowe). we later striped out the engine and built it into a 2 seater go-cart tipe thing we built ourselves from a morris 1100 car using a welded frame morris hub/wheels stearing rack etc coupled up to a hospital laundry trolly chassis. it resembled on of those sand buggy things (without the sissy roll-cage). any way with the 2 of us in it it easily did 60mph over any terrain according to the copper that pulled us going down the local main road flat out.:D

as previously metioned, i have a gsxr 600 srad, not in the usual **** blue and white. but red and black... girly bike, but is my first bike, and was cheap

bike id like is a gsx1100, they are absolutely pimp.

dream bike also has to be a ducati of some type

Favorite bike - Bullet...because of the power of riding it....
Worst bike - nothing
Dream bike - Harley Davidson

I am absolutely nuts about bikes. I am into touring on a BMW which I have at the moment. I am planning on going to Garmisch in Germany next year for BMW motorrad days which should be awsome. Later on next year I am going to the Gorges de verdone in south of France for a week.

I am also into green laneing in my spare time. I use a BMW X Challenge for this. I have also had a Suzuki DRZ 400 S, a KTM 450 EXC:(, and a Yamaha XT660 ( way too heavy for off road) Here are some more piccies of my off roaders.

I won't bore with any more pics for now:D:D

the CR125s were sluggish, specially the latter of the builds, the 5 gears didnt work well. were as the yamaha yz125 was far better, better build and a much nicer ride.

the KX500 is just an animal only a super human can ride them and still be attached to the bike after a lap.

I couldn't comment on the recent models, I rode early and mid nineties models(I'm over the hill now in motocross years!!!)

Please don`t take this the wrong way but are any of you bikers into football ?

PS I`m not and have a general feeling not many bikers are

nah, most bikers have better things to do than watch a load of boys in shorts, haha. Used to like footy at school, but found other, more rewarding intrests

**** and wheels
