I have been working for a small company for the past 10 years, after a previous 10 year spell at BG. I have been looking for a job for over 2 years now and despite a couple of failed interviews with manufacturers....nothing.
I have had no additional training in 10 years and although I'm excellent at diagnostics I feel well behind. I am thinking of paying for some training in commercial and industrial as there are loads of jobs being advertised for this kind of work with them paying good money but I'm not sure the trancision is that easy, if it's possible at all.
Has anyone done this, or just done the course/exams? Am I likely to be wasting my time as you're going to need X amount of experience?
On a completely seperate note one of my work collegues went for a courier job the other day at parcel force that was paying £350 take home a month more than we're getting paid. Need to seriously move on.

I did the coarse to tick the boxes to be honest coz it didn't teach me a great deal except ventilation and you can get away with anything but murder!!!!!
