So I moved a gas meter into a different room, rigid supply pipe and fitted a new gas lever ball valve as an AECV. Had to get SGN out to replace regulator and asked him if all was OK, said yes but they don't really like the lever valves on the supply side but what else can you do if you can't buy ECV's? He didnt have one in the van either as his usual van was in garage so he didnt put one in the temp van. I'm sure it would of been worse if I didn't fit a valve at all. Anyone any thoughts on this? Put all relevant stickers etc in place.

I'm not too worried about it just like to hear others thoughts or pass experiences.
