Hello there i am looking to do the above so that i can install a new shower in its place. We have about 2ft above where the top of the hwc would be to move the tank above in the loft space.

I have been told that this may cause problems and reduce the pressure i have. I thought about installing a pump would this help?

Do i have any other option other than fitting a combi boiler?

Thanks for your time and help.

Hi. Supporting the cylinder and cwsc are prime factors. In order to stop the drawing of air when taps are turned on, the cold feed from cwsc to cylinder would need to be a minimum 28 mm on a small domestic installation.
