moving soil stack to outside

Hi chaps,

Have a bathroom job to do sometime in near future - that in itself should be straightforward...however customer wants the soil stack moved to outside of house. Currently it runs inside a box up thro kitchen and bathroom. So would only have to move it about 400 mm onto the outer wall. It's not something I have done before and would have to dig up concrete in yard etc - how easy is it to connect new pipe to existing underground section? Any advice much appreciated

depends on the sge of the property and how the draihs were laid originally if they are encased in concreete they can be a mare but if plastic laid in shingle its easy
the other alternative is to go of the wall out further up if the lower section of the soil isnt causing an obstruction

Thanks Steve - the property is probably c 40 - 50 years old - so will probably be concrete all the way

Gonna be a lot easier if the drains exits under the wall and to the direction you intend to move it to , if it goes under the house do as suggested take it out the wall from inside BUT put a rodding access on it
